How to install Threads, an Instagram app (easy steps)


The Instagram team recently released Threads, a new app for joining online discussions and sending text updates. Posts can be up to 500 characters long, contain links, images, and videos up to five minutes long, and you log in using your Instagram account. Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, is being challenged by Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Meta, in a conflict that could define the direction of social media. Similar to Instagram, you can add hidden words to your threads to exclude comments that contain particular phrases. By pressing the three-dot menu, you can unfollow, block, restrict, or report a profile on Threads. Any profiles you’ve blocked on Instagram will also be blocked on Threads.
